Get ready to roll into a morning of fun\, learning\, and bicycle safety at our \;Bicycle Rodeo on \;Saturday\, September 12\, from 10:00 a.m.&ndash\;12:00 p.m. at the \;Farm Credit Farmers Market!
Wayne County Cooperative Extension is proud to partner with the \;Partnership for Children\, through the Safe Kids Coalition\, and the \;Goldsboro Optimist Club to host a hands-on event that encourages healthy\, active lifestyles and teaches children the skills they need to ride safely and confidently.
Families are invited to bring their children'\;s bicycles and helmets to participate in a variety of engaging activities\, including helmet checks\, a bicycle skills course\, an interactive obstacle course\, hydration stations\, and other family-friendly activities. Experienced volunteers and community partners will be on hand to provide guidance\, encouragement\, and bicycle safety education throughout the event.
The Bicycle Rodeo supports our shared mission of empowering Wayne County youth with lifelong bicycle safety skills while promoting the Farm Credit Farmers Market as a destination for health\, wellness\, and community engagement.
This event is free and open to the public. We encourage participants to bring their own bike and helmet for the best experience.
