The "A Night Full of Heroes" Volunteer Ceremony is an inspiring evening dedicated to celebrating individuals who go above and beyond to make Wayne County stronger. During this event, the recipients of this year's Governor's Volunteer Service Award will receive their certificates from the North Carolina Governor, and volunteer groups from organizations across the county will be acknowledged.

The evening will begin with registration and networking from 530 pm through 6 pm. The program will take place at 6 pm. Attendees may partake of the hors d' oeuvres served during the event. Awardees are invited to take photos on stage after the program concludes.
