Maintenance Mechanic I

The Housing Authority of the City of Goldsboro is seeking qualified candidates to fill an open full-time position in our Maintenance Department. Pay will be based on experience and skills. Must possess a valid NC Driver’s License and maintain a good driving record. Preferred skills include carpentry, plumbing, minor electricity, hanging and finishing sheet rock, as well as general maintenance and repair to the properties. Skilled in the use of various maintenance tools and equipment and has good working knowledge of techniques, methods, materials, and equipment used in maintaining the buildings.

HACG serves the Goldsboro, NC community and sits about 50 miles east of Raleigh. Compensation includes a competitive salary based on knowledge and experience, as well as a comprehensive/robust benefit package including membership in the NC Local Government Retirement System.
