With two decades experience as a photographer, Casey enjoys photographing people with a photojournalist’s approach.

After starting her career at a newspaper while she was in high school she obtained a BFA in Studio Art with a concentration in Photography from Barton College.

A brief exploration into a few other fields eventually lead Casey back to her passion, print journalism, in 2012. In just under six years at the Goldsboro News-Argus she won seven North Carolina Press Association awards.

She is currently employed at Wayne Community College as a digital media technician, where she creates photos and videos for the communications department.
