Our firm was started more than 60 years ago… by the late Henson P. Barnes and Gene Braswell and existed for most of its history as Barnes, Braswell & Haithcock. Henson had a distinguished legal and public service career serving in the North Carolina Senate as President Pro-Tem of the Senate. Gene was known throughout the state as an outstanding trial lawyer and had a natural talent of persuasion. Most recently, Tim Haithcock retired in 2015 after decades of recognition as a Certified Specialist in Workers' Compensation law.
