Founded in 2010, Literacy Connections of Wayne County helps individuals build literacy skills and pursue their goals through free tutoring. Our downtown Goldsboro home also includes Round About Books, where interns gain work experience, and the Terrace Room, a historic venue for weddings and community events. Together, these spaces create opportunities for learning, work, and connection in Wayne County.

Literacy Connections of Wayne County empowers individuals to strengthen their literacy skills, achieve their goals, and build pathways to greater educational, workforce, and community success. We offer free, personalized tutoring in reading, writing, math, digital literacy, and financial literacy. Our Round About Books bookstore provides work experience for interns, while the historic Terrace Room welcomes weddings, celebrations, and community events. Bookstore purchases and venue rentals help support our literacy mission.
